OUR STORY

Ruggero Ruggeroni was born and raised in the Italian town of Vigevano, just outside of Milan. Upon finishing his secondary education, he studied Fashion Design in Milan.
Ruggero began carving out a niche for himself using his newfound American sensibility combined with a distinctive European flair. He was working on a project building display structures for his clothing showroom and in the process, unleashed a well of creativity which had not been yet tapped and discovered his true passion: Interior Design. He went back to school to study Interior Design at Parsons and never looked back.
Ruggero has worked on a number of projects including the design of restaurants, like MyMoon and Lokal Bistro in Williamsburg NY, La Esperanza in Teaneck NJ and residential apartments at the Setai 5th Avenue and Park Avenue South in Manhattan.
Ruggero at the end of 2019 decided to relocate in Austin, TX to start a new venture by opening an Italian vintage store. Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 pandemic at the beginning of 2020, it made it impossible to proceed with the project at his final stage.
During the lockdown Ruggero created RRWorks by RRuggeroni, a new collection of lamps, by repurposing beautiful liquor bottles and large mason jars.
Another opportunity came to the rescue, bringing together two passions, design and food "La Jeanseria Mensa", an Italian food truck.
